Some in wall speakers are installed in two pieces.
Next drill two holes in your wall s bottom plate which is accessible from the unfinished basement ceiling.
One hole goes below the wall plate and the other goes below the in wall speaker.

To be honest in wall and ceiling speaker installation during the time of construction is literally the easiest way to install speakers and with a little bit of cleverness anybody can do it.
Run in wall rated speaker wire from each in ceiling speaker location to a closet cabinet rack with a power outlet.

Run the wires in new construction speaker cables are usually run after the high voltage wires so you can avoid them and just before the drywall goes up.

Use free air in wall products and create your own back box or install a retro fit back box that some manufacturers offer for their products.
We commonly see the mistake of installers installing a single cable for a single speaker and this is unfortunately not correct.
The frame is secured to the wall and the speaker is then inserted into the frame.
Don t use any other type of wire.
