Worst shingles ever i had iko shingles installed 10 years ago and in that span of time have had to have sections of my roof replaced 3 times in that period due to defective and weak shingles. The slightest wind in spring time causes them to life up crack and fly off. They have another concern warranty transferability. Lawsuits allege that iko s organic roofing shingles are defective and prone to moisture invasion.

The plaintiffs allege that iko knew about these problems since at least 1984 but never disclosed the problem to consumers and failed to issue a recall for the products. Iko makes it clear that failing to seal is not a manufacturing defect and is not iko s problem. The warranty is a proof it makes sense to wait till warm weather to install iko shingles.
