By that i mean that the backs are pretty low. The ikea ektorp sofa has delivered on all of these requirements. The design is arguably classic or boring but people still love it. While sitting use your back to press against the backrest it lowers and the footstool lifts up.

I purchased 4 covers and i do a changeover with each change of season. No worry no nagging. The seat and back cushions however were all woefully under stuffed. We re on the short side 5 1 and 5 7 5 and find it to be comfortable.

It s a wee bit on the small side. The ektorp sofa styling is classic and the changeable covers were a stroke of genius. If you really want it to look showroom pretty you will have to iron the slipcover regularly and pay really close attention to how you fluff the pillows.
